Players ringing a bell during a party drinking game with Trigger Bell cards on the table

🔔 How to Play Trigger Bell

🛠 Setup

  • Place the bell in the center of the table.
  • Shuffle all cards and place the deck face down next to it.
  • Flip 3 cards face up in the middle. (Adjust anytime: fewer for calm, more for chaos.)

🎮 Main Game

  • If a player says or does a trigger, the person who notices rings the bell.
  • The player who was caught takes a penalty. It can be anything your group decides: take a sip, complete a quick challenge, or do a funny dare.
  • After the penalty, the ringer flips the top card of the deck and replaces any one of the active cards in the middle.
  • No rings for 5 minutes? Flip another active card face up to stir things up.
  • False Ring: If you ring the bell when no trigger happened, you take the penalty instead.
  • If you trigger but no one rings, you’re safe.

🎤 Play-Along: Truth or Dare
Play alongside Trigger Bell for extra fun.

Take turns picking another player and asking any question you want.
They must either:

  1. Answer truthfully, or
  2. Take a penalty (same options apply).

If they trigger while answering, ring the bell and they take another penalty.

🎲 Extra Game Ideas
Try swapping Callout with these quick classics:

  • Would You Rather – Ask a “this or that” question. If they refuse to choose, they take a penalty.
  • Category Game – Pick a category (like “movie titles”). Players take turns naming one. First to repeat or stall takes a penalty.
  • Most Likely To – Say “who’s most likely to ___.” Everyone points. The person with the most votes takes a penalty.
  • Never Have I Ever – Say something you’ve never done. Anyone who has done it takes a penalty.
  • I’m Going on a Picnic – Start with “I’m going on a picnic and bringing ___.” Each player repeats everything in order and adds one item. Mess up = penalty.

🏁 Game End
Play until you’re out of cards, out of energy, or ready to call it a night.

💡 Optional: Custom Cards
Your deck includes 5 blank cards to create your own triggers or inside jokes later.
They’re glossy laminated, so if you write on them, erase right after playing to reuse.
